The Met Office has issued its highest level of warning as winds of between 80 and 90mph are forecast. The red alert is in place from 10am to 5pm on Friday 24th January. Red warnings mean there could be danger to life, damage to property, travel and power disruption, and dangerous seas. As a result of the red warning, our office will be closed on Friday 24th January.
Our staff team will be working from home to answer calls. However, because of the weather conditions the normal repairs service will be suspended and limited to emergencies only. Any appointments made for tomorrow for non-emergency repairs may have to be postponed. We will be in contact if this is the case. Contractors' ability to attend emergencies may be hampered by the weather conditions and may have to wait until they subside.
Please take extra care tomorrow and consider whether you need to travel. Please also secure any loose items in your garden or veranda or bring them inside if possible.
